Ремонт судна, выполняемый для восстановления его технико-эксплуатационных характеристик до значений, близких к построечным с заменой и (или) восстановлением любых элементов, включая базовые.
Примечания
1. Значения технико-эксплуатационных характеристик судна при капитальном ремонте устанавливаются в нормативно-технической документации.
2. Капитальный ремонт элемента судна - по ГОСТ 18322-78.
Капитальный ремонт судна может сопровождаться модернизацией, обеспечивающей улучшение технико-эксплуатационных характеристик судна с целью приближения к значениям характеристик однотипных судов, строящихся в этот период.
Капитальный ремонт может выполняться в несколько этапов.
